Once again, the stunning white peony!
FACTOID: Marilyn Monroe wore a white dress in the 1955 film The Seven Year Itch, directed by Billy Wilder. The dress was created by costume designer William Travilla and was worn in one of the best-known scenes in the movie. At the time the movie was filmed, Monroe’s husband, NY Yankee Joe DiMaggio, is said to have “hated” the dress, but it’s part of her legacy. The fashion web site Glamour.com has classified the dress as one of history’s most famous dresses.
