Panoramic Adirondacks

While waiting for the ferry and enjoying a meal at the Breakwater Cafe on the Burlington, VT/Port Kent, NY ferry dock, I had plenty of time to capture this scene across Lake Champlain and a section of upstate New York’s Adirondack Mountains range.  July weather was in the 70’s – perfectamundo!!

For those of you who may be taking some fall foliage trips this year, I highly recommend crossing Lake Champlain on this ferry and enjoying both states’ roadways.  It’s a really nice way to wind down after a flight and/or road trip, to just get out of your car for an hour and let the wind and water lull you into vacation mode!

(This 10-image scene was shot vertically with a wide angle lens.)
