Poppy Flowers (and a Bee)

Loving these colors!  This small field of blooms is behind the main building at Salem Academy.

b) Re: the flower, did you know that following the trench warfare of WW1, which took place in the poppy fields of Flanders (now Belgium), red poppies have become a symbol of remembrance of the soldiers who have died during wartime.
