According to Salem Academy’s web site, “The college preparatory boarding and day school for girls, was founded in 1772 by early Moravian settlers who held the view that girls deserved an education comparable to that afforded boys.”  What a marvelous surprise!

These photos are fantastic! Thank you so much for taking them. Glad you could be a part of Savannah’s graduation.

    • Hi Mary! Pleasure to “meet” you! Thanks so very much for visiting my blog! I know a little bird told you about this. I had a great day at the graduation, not to mention walking around the campus twice before. I’d never been there before; it’s such a lovely place. Have a great summer!
