This 35mm B&W image was taken in 2003. After completing the tour the lighthouse and wandering around the premises, the sun just happened to be directly behind the actual light well. However, when I reviewed the contact sheet, the overexposed image didn’t look like anything I’d ever enlarge. Cut to last year when I upped the resolution to 4000 on a scanner at school, I thought I’d like to try and touch it up someday . Here are the results. It’s nice to see foreground shadow of the lighthouse (which proves it was the sun behind it and not the actual light!). Great job? Probably not. But doable? Yes! Was it fun to work on? You bet!
