A view from the Rogue River Trail

Because we didn’t have as many miles to cover on our last day on the river, we were in no big hurry to leave the campground.  To some, it meant enjoying yet another cup of coffee and dig into some seconds from a delicious breakfast spread; for others meant “take a hike!”, so we did!!

The Rogue has another wonderful attribute and it’s that people can also enjoy the Rogue River Trail, so there are options –  float the river, hike the trail, or both – the hike is next on my bucket list!  Oh, and did I mention?  You don’t have to camp either – there are several great lodges overlooking the river – rough it camping, or nice warm shower, a bed and taking it all in from a rocker on the porch.  This stretch of trail was just up the hill from our campground, and it deserved a round of clicks for a panoramic image.

Full panoramic here and video with music below…  hope you enjoy…
