Just off Route 12 in southern Utah, is a little-known gem of a day hike that goes by the name of Death Hollow. What’s unusual and fascinating about it is that there is no reliable trail for this trek – you simply enjoy your hike in the water! While it can be tricky getting in and out (or should I say down into/up out of) the canyon, once you’re in, you’re hooked. Luckily, we didn’ have to carry gear up over our shoulders or tread water in the canyon. That’s my brother on the rock; he was a Utahan for several years, so he took us siblings out on these great adventures.
