More Utah Monoliths

These B&W film images were shot a bit more recently, another time, another place in Utah.  Believe me when I say that Monument Valley, although immensely, hugely, and spectacularly awesome, is not the only game in town in the southeast corner of the state.  These rock monsters were somewhere down the two-lane blacktop between the towns of Blanding and Mexican Hat on Route 163.  A hint about their size – our car could’ve easily fit in the hole in the rock that you see in the left side of the photo just below.
