Live Red Rubies (I need an entomologist again!)

So, what are these little red buggers?  I think they’re the kids being that they stayed huddled together most of the time, especially in cloudy, dreary weather.  If the sun came out, they didn’t venture very far (i.e. what you see here).  A few days later, some went further (about a foot on our siding), but they still came back to the huddle by sundown.  The funny thing was that, as I watched them every day for about a week, one final day – they were ALL gone – not a one held the fort!

Then I got bored with the same shots, so stacked one macro set and played with the paintbrush and paint bucket tools.  Weeeeeeeeee!
