The Bearded Dragon

This reptile goes by this name due to the fact, when upset or threatened, his throat expands; the “holes” you see on each side are his ears.  Apparently, the folks taking a tour through the Natural Science Center were no cause for alarm.  They like it warm in Australia’s dry woodlands, hence the golden hot lamps which make him look rather regal.
